Nearly 40 dogs were removed from deplorable conditions

A South Jersey home was evacuated from dozens of flea-infested dogs. A local animal rescue is helping to bring them back to health. However, help from the public is still needed.

Animal Control was forced to pull back onto Newcomb Lane, Pennsville on Tuesday morning. Eyewitness News received complaints from neighbors that their dogs were yelling and knocking at trash cans for weeks.

Renee’s Rescues was called to provide immediate medical attention for the dogs. These Chihuahua mix dogs are aged between 5 and 7 years.

According to rescue, the owners had agreed to surrender their animals.

The dogs have been given shots and are being placed in foster homes.
